How to Estimate NC10006 Material Handling Efficiency
The Onchtech NC10006 combines loading, transport and unloading in a compact tracked machine designed for confined spaces and uneven ground. To estimate its material handling efficiency, start with two specifications: a 1,000 kg rated payload and a 0.4 m³ bucket capacity. Neither figure alone determines hourly output; the material carried on each trip and the time needed to complete that trip matter just as much.
The estimate below is a planning method, not a guaranteed production rate. Use measurements from the intended worksite for a more useful result.
A practical way to calculate hourly output
- Estimate usable volume per trip. Multiply the 0.4 m³ bucket capacity by a realistic fill factor for the material and loading conditions. If the material is carried in the bucket, check that its estimated mass does not exceed the 1,000 kg rated payload. Using loose bulk density in kg/m³, a planning limit is the lesser of 0.4 × fill factor and 1,000 ÷ loose bulk density, expressed in m³ per trip. Account for any additional carried load when checking the payload limit.
- Measure the full cycle. Add loading, loaded travel, positioning, unloading, return travel and any routine waiting time. Record the total in minutes per completed trip.
- Calculate an hourly estimate. Completed trips per hour ≈ 60 ÷ minutes per cycle. Estimated volume per hour ≈ usable m³ per trip × completed trips per hour. To estimate mass per hour, multiply that volume by the material’s loose bulk density.
Keep the material-density basis consistent throughout the calculation. A nominal bucket volume is not a promise that every load will be full or that every cycle will take the same amount of time.
What changes the cycle time on site?
- Route and surface: Travel distance, gradients, turns and uneven or soft ground affect how long each loaded and return journey takes. The specified travel speed is 2–3 km/h; measured site speed may differ.
- Access and maneuvering: The NC10006 is 850 mm wide and has a specified turning radius of 1.3 m. Check the complete route for sufficient clearance, turning space and safe entry and exit—not just the width of a single opening.
- Loading and discharge: Material type, loading position and the receiving area influence bucket fill and unloading time. The self-loading bucket and rotating hopper support loading, transport and discharge where space is limited.
- Work coordination: Other equipment, pedestrian routes and waiting at the discharge point can reduce completed trips per hour even when the machine’s carrying capacity is unchanged.

Plan around the actual route
For construction, landscaping, mountain transport or interior renovation work, a short site trial can establish realistic bucket fill and cycle time before setting a production target. Confirm that the surface, slope, access route and unloading area are suitable for the planned operation.
For NC10006 selection or configuration discussions, share the material and its bulk density, travel distance, route dimensions, ground conditions and intended discharge arrangement with Onchtech. These details provide a sounder basis for estimating output than a specification-only calculation.
